The universal RESPILON nanofiber filter for your air conditioner captures bacteria and thanks to its anti-microbial properties prevents their further growth in the filter. The A/C filter also eliminates odors, and harmful gases, and protects from dust. All its features, therefore, contribute to the cleanliness of the air in your household, office, or your own doctor’s office.

Air conditioner filter with nanomembrane
Take your home air conditioning to another level with an air filter. Thanks to the universal RESPILON nanofiber filter you can efficiently purify the air in any room equipped with an air conditioner. Be it your living room, bedroom, office, or your own doctor’s office.
How does the A/C nanofiber filter work?
First, it is important to realize how home air conditioners work. An indoor air conditioner from any manufacturer draws in air from the room, heats it or cools it, and then lets it back into the room. Because of that, air that was already in the room circulates, which also causes particles to swirl. The RESPILON A/C filter attaches to air holes through which the air conditioner draws in air. The air is filtered at the inlet through the RESPILON nanomembrane which captures undesirable dust particles, pollen, bacteria, and odors. Purified air at a required temperature then comes out of the air conditioner. The versatility of the filter is a big advantage – it doesn’t matter whether you have a wall-mounted, a ceiling-mounted (so-called cassette), or a mobile air conditioner, it doesn’t even matter what brand it is. Thanks to the RESPILON A/C filter you can enhance any air conditioning system with a filtering nanofiber membrane.
Why choose the RESPILON A/C filter:
- it is universal
- removes solid particulates from the air
- has antimicrobial effect
- has a deodorizing zeolite core (absorbs odors)
- easy installation
How to install and change the RESPILON nanofiber A/C filter
Always follow the instructions for installation. Start by opening the case of your air conditioner and slide out the screen – it has a sieve inside which captures larger impurities. Place the screen on the RESPILON A/C filter and trace its exact shape. Use scissors to cut out the desired shape of the filter. Attach double-sided tape to the upper side of the screen and then stick the RESPILON A/C filter to it. The tape need not be attached around the whole circumference of the screen – once the air conditioner is switched on, airflow will make the filter adhere to the screen perfectly. Make sure to always attach the filter with its side with RESPILON logos facing up, and always attach it to the upper side of the screen. Insert the screen with the RESPILON A/C filter back into the air conditioner. The filter needs to change when the RESPILON logos on the upper side of the filter are no longer visible.
Installation of Nanofiber Filter
What is the RESPILON nano A/C filter made out of?
The RESPILON nano A/C filter is made with two layers (polyethylene 50%, polypropylene 48.5%, PVDF 1.5%). The top layer is non-woven textile, the bottom is the nanofiber filter itself. In order to maintain the unique qualities of the filter, we recommend careful handling of this bottom layer. When the RESPILON nano A/C filter is placed into a filtration unit, the nanofiber bottom layer is well protected by your air conditioner’s grille with netting (on to which you secure the filter).
Compared to others, what are the advantages of the RESPILON nano A/C filter?
The RESPILON nano A/C filter is antimicrobial (it absorbs bacteria and prevents their replication inside the A/C unit), eliminates odors (during operations it absorbs and removes noxious odors and gasses), filters out dust (it helps to remove circulating dust – caused by airing the room – due to the increased absorption efficiency of the A/C unit), requires no complicated maintenance (the filter prevents the accumulation of dust inside the unit and the spread of microbes; thus to maintain hygienic conditions, simply use the filter for a certain period of time and then dispose of it and insert a new filter).
Does the RESPILON nano A/C filter have any effect on the high or low temperatures between which the A/C unit operates?
The RESPILON nano A/C filter is placed on the air intake to the A/C unit, not on the exhaust. This means that the filter is exposed to the temperature of your room. Temperature generally has no effect on the functionality of the RESPILON nano A/C filter.
When should I change the RESPILON nano A/C filter?
We recommend changing the filter when it has captured enough particles that the word “RESPILON” on the filter surface becomes illegible. Do not try to disinfect or wash a used A/C filter – it is intended to be disposable, so dispose of it properly (into a standard household waste bin) when fitting a new one.
How difficult is it to change/install the RESPILON nano A/C filter?
Installation and maintenance are very easy. Any adult in the household can carry it out. Always follow the instructions for replacement/installation.
What sizes does the RESPILON nano A/C filter come in?
The RESPILON nano A/C filter comes in two sizes: 550 × 550 mm (21.65 × 21.65 in) and 800 x 1100 mm (31.49 × 43.30 in). The single filter size in the package can be cut and sized for several installations/replacements; it depends on the size of the filtration unit of your air conditioner.
For what types of air conditioners is the RESPILON nano A/C filter suitable?
The RESPILON nano A/C filter is suitable for all types of air conditioners: ceiling, wall-mounted, and even stand-alone. After measuring and cutting, the single filter size in the package can be used for several installations/replacements; it depends on the size of the filtration unit in your air conditioner
